So last night Donna and I went to Children's Book World for an epic reading and signing with David Levithan, Rachel Cohn, Matt De La Pena, E. Lockhart, and Sarah Mlynowski!

The night was a blast and it was so fun to hear the authors read and just sit there in awe of so much talent and love of words. I definitely left the night on a high AND I'm going back tonight to see Laurie Halse Anderson! SQUEEE!
Isn't David hilarious? He read the Santa Claus part in Dash and Lily and I about peed my pants!

ReplyDeleteJamie--HA! I know and his version of the elf was EPIC! I was hysterical! The reading made me SO excited to read the book, but I think I might put it aside until its closer to Christmas to get into the spirit. Are you going to see Laurie tonight?
