Hey Guys! I just realized I've completely abandoned the blog for a week and missed welcoming in the start of October!
I wish I had something awesome to report but all I have is that I'm currently on chapter 14 of my plot-line and have written about 25,000 words. That's like more than a quarter of the novel.
Clearly this plot-line/outline is much more of a rough draft than I realized it would be when I started. Anyway I am in LOVE with this story and I'm not sure I've ever had this much fun writing/outlining scenes before. Part of that has to do with how much I love this story and part of it has to do with the subject material of my WIP.
The fun is impossible to keep off the page. Seriously! And someday soon I hope you'll see and agree with me. Or not. But...maybe?
I hope you've all had a fantastic week and welcomed October in in style. AKA by wearing boots, drinking warm drinks and imagining recipes that involve pumpkin ;)
Have a great weekend! And happy writing!
Wow! Congrats! I WISH I had 25k. LOL! I'm at a measley 13k, but I am hoping to up that word count soon. ;o) Like tomorrow...at my writing date at Panera's lol. I'm so glad writing is going well, Frankie!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rachel! And don't knock 13K, that's a great accomplishment! Writing dates at Panera are so fun! Good luck with the writing!
DeleteGood work, Frankie! Keep it up. :) Happy October!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Laura! Happy October to you!
DeleteAwesome job, Frankie! I also want to mention that I like your plotlining idea -- not sure it would work for me, but it certainly would be worth trying!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Margret! And yay, I'm glad you like the plotlining. Honestly, I'm still playing with it, but if you find it helps you in any way shape or form than I'll be thrilled.
DeleteNice work! It's important to be in love with your story. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Joanne! And yes, I agree!
DeleteCongrats, Frankie. 25,000 words is tremendous progress. Go YOU.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kate!
